How my journey began

Like many, I grew up with them mindset that becoming a pilot was unattainable. At a young age I found out I had colorblindness. Not only that, I also had very poor vision. In high school, an Airforce recruiter told me my chances of getting into the Airforce were less that 1% since I was colorblind and did not have 20/20 vision.

In 2018, I started by perusing a sport pilots license, which did not require an FAA medical. Later, I decided to take the chance and go in for a 3rd class medical, which to my surprise I attained. I spent about a year in total, with just over 40Hrs flying and was able to secure my Private Pilots Certificate.

If you have medical concerns, talk with your local pilots, instructors or AME and see what your options are. There is a good chance you are not the only one or the first one!

Why I Fly

Fun or Career?

Ever since I began flying, my primary focus was having fun with the thought of one day owning my own plane which would allow me to travel places much quicker than by car. The thought of turning it into a career has crossed my mind but, I’ve still got some complications to work though which I will share at a later time.

Motivation comes from within — and I’m here to help you activate it.
